I am a professional humanitarian and peacekeeping specialist with 13 years of experience in social protection, Human Rights, GBV Prevention and Response Mitigation, Gender Equality, PSEA, Safeguarding, and Disability Inclusion for refugees and internally displaced individuals (IDPs). As a registered member of the International Association for Community Development with Reg No. 4309, I have a proven track record in Gender Equality and Accountability to affected populations and responding to humanitarian emergencies across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.
Currently, I serve as a Programme Policy Officer (Protection, AAP, Gender, and Disability Inclusion) with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, where I provide strategic support for integrating Protection, Accountability, and Gender Policies into program operations. My focus includes addressing the needs of over 969,000 Rohingya refugees and collaborating with key stakeholders to implement WFP’s various policies.
I have worked with organizations like IRC Uganda & South Sudan, UNHCR/UNCDF -Zambia, UNMISS, and Dorcas Aid, managing large-scale, multi-country projects funded by prominent donors such as USAID, FCDO, DFAT, WB, CIDA, SIDA, ECHO, UAE, Humanitarian & Development Pool fund and the EU. My expertise spans project management, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, and budgeting, enabling me to contribute effectively to organizational goals in diverse and multicultural settings and environment.

I have worked across several Middle Eastern countries, including Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Yemen. This diverse experience has enriched my understanding of local contexts, conflicts, and dynamics, enabling me to design timely and appropriate responses to complex challenges. My extensive background encompasses various humanitarian sectors, including Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, and Education, where I have successfully contributed to programs aimed at fostering social cohesion and conflict transformation. My work has involved collaboration with various donors, including USAID, OFDA, the EU, Irish Aid, UNICEF, UNHCR, UNOCHA, IOM, Proximity and DRL.
In addition to my practical experience, I have focused on building an academic profile to support my work. I earned a Master’s degree with honors in Political Science and International Relations from Hasan Kalyoncu University (Gaziantep, Turkiye). My academic pursuits have allowed me to contribute to global discourse, as evidenced by my publications in journals such as Global Faultline. Furthermore, I have authored two articles with Hasan Kalyoncu University, focusing on civil society and Islamic groups.
